+Harmonies are a separate way of playing Vocals, where up to three different people can sing at the same time.
+HARM1 needs to be present no matter what, and is where you should put lead vocals in most cases. A lot of the time this will be very similar, or even identical, to the Solo Vocals chart.
+HARM2 and HARM3 is where you'll add additional vocal parts that appears along with the lead, with their own separate note tubes that are colored differently; orange for HARM2 and yellow for HARM3.
+Be sure you have a firm understanding of Vocals authoring before starting.

+In general, if there is more than one voice in a song you have grounds for adding Harmonies. This includes, but is not limited to:
+  * If a song has more than one vocal part be sung at the same time (for example: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody)
+  * If a song is performed with more than one vocalist (for example: Beach Boys - Good Vibrations)
+  * If a song has several lead vocalists (for example: Beastie Boys - No Sleep Til Brooklyn)
+  * If a song has backup vocals or prominent double tracking (for example: Rage Against The Machine - Bombtrack)
+  * If a song is sung from the perspective of different characters in a narrative, even if its the same vocalist (for example: Rush - 2112)
+  * If a song uses effects to create distinct additional parts to a song, even if its technically just one vocalist, such as vocoders or loops (for example: The Faceless - Xenochrist)

+  * **No percussion sections** - Percussion should only appear on Solo Vocals. They work on Harmonies, but it becomes a hassle if you're used to Harmony charts not having them and trying to play Vocals and an instrument at the same time.
+  * **Who sings what** - You usually want HARM1 to sing what the leader singer sings, HARM2 higher harmonies and HARM3 lower harmonies. This is not a hard rule, but a good base to keep in mind.
+  * **Keep who is on which harmony consistent** - Don't just put all the lead vocals on HARM1 if they're sung by different singers at different times, for example. Have one of them charted to HARM1 and the other to HARM2 or 3, so when you play it in-game with people everyone knows which part of the song they're supposed to sing.

+==== ☆ Hiding Lyrics ====

+HARM2 and HARM2 shares a lyric display in-game, which usually isn't a big problem. However, sometimes HARM2 and HARM3 will sing different things, and you'll need to hide the lyrics of one of them as to make it readable at all.
+To do this, first find out which part is less essential to know the lyrics to in the moment, for example a repeated phrase or an identical lyric to HARM1 and the like. Once you've figured it out, go and add a **$** at the end of all the lyric events you want to hide.
+They will now only appear in-game if singled out in the vocals trainer. The $ should always be at the very end of the lyric, otherwise it won't be hidden properly.
