Here are some additional info about advanced techniques that can be used when building a custom, as well as figuring out certain errors that might occur

==== MILO Editing ====

By default, a song will have its animation pool based on which genre you choose, and whoever sings which harmony part is predetermined by instrument. To change this, first build a test build, then extract the MILO file and open it in the MiloMod software that's now bundled with ConTools.

==== BUILDING ERRORS ====

Sometimes a song will refuse to build even when the MIDI itself seems fine:

One of these methods seem to usually fix it:

  * Make all MIDI notes velocities 96
  * Make sure all MIDI notes are in channel 1 in their track (this does not apply to ProTar)
  * If you copied notes from a reference MIDI, look for any unwanted extra MIDI events in the dropdown menu that by default is set to "Text Events"
