Pro Strings involves transcribing an almost 1:1 tab of the guitar and bass parts of the song, and as such should not be attempted unless you are familiar with playing them in real life. If not, start with learning how to play guitar and bass, and how the tabs for those instruments work first. Yes, we are telling you to go “play a real guitar” in this instance.

☆ Reduction Rules

General
- Changing strings: Add additional gaps between changing strings to allow the player to move their hand without as much stress.
Hard
- Chords: Can use all 6 strings in a chord, though you usually want to just stick to 4 at a time. Make sure to have additional room between chord changes.
Medium
- Chords: Can only have 2-note chords. Make sure to have additional room between chord changes.
Easy
- Chords: No chords allowed, make everything a single note.
